Having Ears To Hear
Let him who has ears to hear..hear what the Spirit is saying to the Church! (Rev3)
The foundation for our
prayer is hearing the heart of God, discerning His desires rather than just petitioning Him with ours. This
foundation-listening to the Lord -is what prophetic prayer is all about.
Let's hear what the prophets are saying, hear what intercessors are being burdened with, hear the sounds of the Spirit and laying aside our own desires... push together for the Kingdom!

In Ears to Hear we share key words and prayer direction we we are hearing the Lord speak to us on a monthly basis. Ears to Hear is a forum for timely prophetic words, filled with encouragement, vision, and revelation of God's heart for the nation of Canada.
But even more- Ears to Hear is a call to focus intercession with
unity and fervency in the prayer direction the Lord is revealing to the Church in Canada. It's about us together discerning the burden of the Lord and awakening intercession like never before!

Quebec City - Contending for the Next Generation at the Places of Birth and Origin of North America
April 2/08
The sense of sovereignty over our 2008 CPC roundtable in the province of Quebec was overwhelming. It seemed as though God had prepared every detail in advance. At our Ottawa roundtable in 2007, God had spoken to us specifically about two things:
1) The strategic place of Quebec in our nation's spiritual time frame, as it is the 400th year anniversary of the founding of Quebec City, the oldest city in North America.
2) The next generation - walking with them and seeing them take their place in the nation.
From the very beginning, God strategically and sovereignly orchestrated events. Even the difficulties were used by God to bring about His highest purposes. "The mind of a man plans his way, but the Lord directs his steps" (Prov. 16:9).
Many ministries came together to push for not only our nation, but also the whole continent of North America...

From City Prayer Leaders...
City Prayer Leaders are the leaders are recognised by the Ministerial, or Pastoral Leadership teams of our cities.
They come from many streams but are all in the trenches serving their city and building unity. From coast to coast, from cities large and small, many have been connecting and sharing together. Out of these times we give you the most prevalent prayer direction we are hearing the Lord repeat across Canada.

The Call to Prayer -April
1. Renewed Minds: We have entered into a new time! New times require renewed mindsets, full of faith, vision and an expectation of victory. Pray that we would be "of a different spirit" like Joshua and Caleb, whose former struggles and disappointments did not define or limit them. Fight for those that need the intercession of the Body to break free of doubt and fear. (For more understanding of the "new time" see the CPC report).
2. Generosity: Pray for the Body of Christ in Canada to cultivate a generous spirit, which would manifest in how we speak, how we steward our time, resources, spiritual gifts and finances. Pray that withholding & covetousness will fade away as we grow more and more into the character of Christ.
3. Harvest: Contend wholeheartedly for the harvest to break open in Canada. Pray for those called to be end-time evangelists to be protected, anointed and released. Pray for the acceleration of the harvest process to the point where the plowman begins to overtakes the reaper. (Am 9:13)
4. Submission: With recent repentance for a root of rebellion & dishonour (watch for reporting on this coming soon), pray for the Body to war in the "opposite spirit" through godly submission to and honour of those in authority. Pray that lawlessness and rebellion will be rolled back in every area of our society.
5. Depression: Stand in the gap for those that are struggling with all forms of depression, even discouragement or loss of vision. Jesus is able to heal and deliver us from all darkness and disease. Especially pray for those in leadership that are struggling with this at this time.
6. Quebec: Continue to focus your intercession on the province of Quebec as the Lord has done so much there through recent initiatives. Pray that the prophetic voice of the John the Baptist anointing would be fully released!
