Having Ears To Hear

Angel

Let him who has ears to hear..hear what the Spirit is saying  to the Church!  (Rev3)

The foundation for our
prayer is hearing the heart of God, discerning His desires rather than just petitioning Him with ours. This
foundation-listening to the Lord -is what prophetic prayer is all about.

Let's hear what the prophets are saying, hear what intercessors are being burdened with, hear the sounds of the Spirit and laying aside our own desires... push together for the Kingdom!

HE Has Risen!!

Easter

"I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in me will live, even though he dies; and whoever lives and believes in me will never die"  Jhn 11:25,26

Welcome to Ears to Hear!

A Canadian Prophetic Newsletter, the cooperative effort of City Prayer Leaders from across Canada and the Canadian Prophetic Council. In Ears to Hear we share key words and prayer direction we we are hearing the Lord speak to us on a monthly basis. Ears to Hear is a forum for timely prophetic words, filled with encouragement, vision, and revelation of God's heart for the nation of Canada.

But even more- Ears to Hear is a call to focus intercession with unity and fervency in the prayer direction the Lord is revealing to the Church in Canada. It's about us together discerning the burden of the Lord and awakening intercession like never before!

Quebec GateHistory this month!

Samuel de Champlain's Founding of New France and the City of Quebec

"On 13 April 1608 he set out a third time for New France; he arrived on 3 June at Tadoussac, where he had not been for five years. It was in a bark [canoe], and not on board the Don-de-Dieu, that he went up the river to establish a habitation, on 3 July, at the "point of Quebec." "I at once employed a part of our workmen," he wrote, "in cutting them [the trees] down to make a site for our settlement, another part in sawing planks, another in digging the cellar and making ditches." He had built, along with a storehouse for provisions, three main buildings; the whole was surrounded by moats 15 feet wide and by stockades of stakes. Quebec was beginning its history."

scroll"Love & War"

By Jane Jones

Twice in the last week I have been reminded by the Lord about a vision I had at the Canadian Prophetic Council Conference last summer of two large angels. They were carrying gold nets and in the nets were scrolls. I asked them what message they were bringing and the answer was "We are bringing a message of love and war" I realized that fighting with the force of love was a powerful weapon and would bring in the harvest which the nets represented.

The Lord has been speaking in the last while about new weapons for warfare and that we need to wield the sword with Him and not ahead of Him.  I believe the warfare of love encompasses mercy and judgement and brings ultimate victory.

From City Prayer Leaders...

Toronto City Prayer Leaders are the leaders are recognised by the Ministerial, or Pastoral Leadership teams of our cities.

They come from many streams but are all in the trenches serving their city and building unity. From coast to coast, from cities large and small, many have been connecting and sharing together. Out of these times we give you the most prevalent prayer direction we are hearing the Lord repeat across Canada.

The Call to Prayer -March

1. Resurrection:
Call for the power of God raise to life past words, visions and callings. Contend for churches or ministries that seem to be teetering on the edge of survival. Speak the glorious, explosive life of the Kingdom into regions of our nation that where death has built strongholds. Let the stone of unbelief be rolled away and the resurrection power of God break forth all over the nation!

2. Open Eyes & Ears:
Pray for the Church to clearly hear the voice of God and discern His marching orders in this season, let nothing obscure these. Seek Him for new levels of maturity in discernment so that the trumpet blast that calls us to action can be clear and strong. Call forth an increase of the mature, pure, revelatory gifts for this hour.

3. Quebec:
Stand in the gap for God's destiny for Quebec, and especially Quebec City. May the fullness of God's heart for Quebec's destiny be seized with faith and passion in this time. Pray for the harvest, for the mobilisation of labourers and for creative new evangelism thrusts. Continue to call for the spirit of John the Baptist to come forth and awaken a mighty revival.

4. Knit Together:
Pray for the Lord to continue to baptize his people in a profound love for one another. Pray 1Cor 13 over the body in Canada asking the Lord to make us strong in every aspect of love. Pray also for those that are isolated relationally, (for whatever reason), that the Good Shepherd would draw them in closer.

5. Holiness:
Intercede for a "holiness movement" in Canada. Pray that the fresh fire of radical consecration would be embraced by every generation and every stream of the Church.  Pray for a deep work of the Spirit washing even hidden iniquity and pride with the cleansing power of the blood so we can rise up and possess the land. (Josh 3:5)
