prayer is hearing the heart of God, discerning His desires rather than just petitioning Him with ours. This
foundation-listening to the Lord -is what prophetic prayer is all about.
Let's hear what the prophets are saying, hear what intercessors are being burdened with, hear the sounds of the Spirit and laying aside our own desires... push together for the Kingdom!

"Prophesying in Proximity of the Miracle"
Prophetic prospective from Ezeziel 37:1-14

Many are being called to walk into assignments as found in Ezekiel 37... It is the Spirit of God who is bringing us right into the midst of what is so unpleasant...so dismembered...so separated...so segmented. He is setting us right in the very middle of what seems both impossible and improvable.
The Lord is positioning many to prophesy both in "close-up" view of abject brokenness as well as in proximity of the miracle.
Quite frankly the very keen awareness of just how unlikely the miracle is seems to deplete our faith and challenge our expectation. This is not simply a quickly passing brush with difficult situations.
Rather, like Ezekiel, the Spirit is leading us back and forth in the very midst of what could be even repulsive...until our vision becomes nearly obscured by the reality of it all. To make it even worse, these disintegrating situations are becoming less likely to even resemble what could be and appear as dry...very dry bones! The condition pictured in Ezekiel 37 is one of extremity!

Welcome to Ears to Hear!
A Canadian Prophetic Newsletter, the cooperative effort of City Prayer Leaders from across Canada and the Canadian Prophetic Council. In Ears to Hear we share key words and prayer direction we we are hearing the Lord speak to us on a monthly basis. Ears to Hear is a forum for timely prophetic words, filled with encouragement, vision, and revelation of God's heart for the nation of Canada.
But even more- Ears to Hear is a call to focus intercession with
unity and fervency in the prayer direction the Lord is revealing to the Church in Canada. It's about us together discerning the burden of the Lord and awakening intercession like never before!

Continental Convergence!

In April of this year CPC provincial leaders traveled to Quebec City, (a key foundation stone of North America) to prophecy, pray and worship at the one of the "places of birth and origin" of North America ( see CPC report from April). Something remarkable happened. Something was set in motion.
Now 7 months later, God has orchestrated a stunning continental convergence. Throughout the weekend of October 30-Nov 1st He is calling for worship, prayer, repentance and prophecy on a massive, unprecedented, continental scale.
In Canada:
 Toronto hosts the nation's prophets who will gather at the CPC National Roundtable to discern and prophecy to the nation.
A the same time, the Call2All Congress, Toronto (a worldwide movement calling the church to a renewed, focused collaborative effort to fulfill the Great Commission) will be inspiring and advancing global evangelism.
The next day The CRY Toronto will gather the young and young in heart in fasting and prayer to cry out for righteousness in our nation.
Then finally the weekend will be crowned with Heaven's Rehearsal, where Toronto's largest stadium, the Rogers Centre, will be filled with glorious, united worship.
I n the United States:
 At the very same time Cindy Jacobs is gathering the Church to Wall St. to pray for the economy in an event called Convergence.
 While at the same time, on the west coast, Lou Engle and the CALL California contend for righteousness and a reversing of recently passed same-sex marriage laws.
This is a tremendous convergence of multiple streams and movements, each doing their part in this strategic window of time. No human could have coordinated such a unified advance! Let us pray and believe for historic breakthroughs for the Kingdom in this amazing weekend!

From City Prayer Leaders...
City Prayer Leaders are the leaders are recognised by the Ministerial, or Pastoral Leadership teams of our cities.
They come from many streams but are all in the trenches serving their city and building unity. From coast to coast, from cities large and small, many have been connecting and sharing together. Out of these times we give you the most prevalent prayer direction we are hearing the Lord repeat across Canada.

- Generosity: With world-wide financial markets shaking, many are retreating to self-preservation and hoarding in fear. Pray for the Church to rise above this storm and move powerfully in the opposite spirit. Pray for a renewed compassion for the poor and a steadfast confidence in God's provision. Call forth a great anointing of generosity. It's time to invest in the Kingdom!
- Seeds of New Beginnings: The Lord has heightened the importance of timing in these days. Pray for whatever God intends to have planted into this "year of new beginnings" to be sown into the ground. Let nothing be missed. Pray for the Church to be totally in step with the acceleration of God's timetable.
- Josephs: Pray for the leaders that have been prepared by the Lord for this time. Leaders in government, in finance, and in business. Pray for them to be called into position and clothed with a spirit of wisdom, understanding, counsel, might and the fear of the Lord.
- Continental Convergence: Pray for this unique and historical weekend (Oct 29-Nov 1)as Canada and the US together worship, repent, prophecy and intercede for the Kingdom of God to come.
- US Elections: Cry out for the US in this month as they decide whom their next president will be and the direction their nation will follow for the next 4 years. Lift your voice for mercy. Remember -we are our brother's keeper.
- Intimacy: Ask the Lord to draw his people into a deep place of rest and abiding in Him in this season. Pray that the Body of Christ in Canada remains focused on the "one thing",(Lu 10:42) and grows in worship, ministry and devotion to the Lord.
- New Government: Intercede for the newly elected government. Pray for each member of parliament, as well as God's hand upon the selection of the next cabinet.
