The Love for Israel Relief Fund extends our deepest sympathies to the victims of the Mumbai terror attacks; along with their families and the Chabad movement.

It is with a very heavy heart that we announce more orphans grieve in Zion today because of senseless hatred. Chabad Rabbi Shmuel Katz exhorts, “Wanton hate must be countered with wonton love.” In response we would like to take up a special offering. Our goal is to:

1. Create an education fund in Israel for Israeli children who have been orphaned by the Mumbai terror attacks.

2. Honor Sandra Samuel whose amazing act of heroism undoubtedly saved little Moshe Holtzberg’s life. A short video clip of Sandra holding little Moshe is here

I personally believe Ms. Samuel has earned the title “Righteous Gentile” - one of Israel’s highest honors. As such; she should be allowed to reside in Israel permanently if she chooses. I would like to respectfully encourage our leadership to confer such honor upon her.
