Hello Evryone,
I just returned yesterday from Mozambique, Africa. I want to share a story on fulfillment of a prophecy that was given 33 years ago. Sometimes, the Lord wants us to continue to hang on to, believe in and call in words that take a while to see fulfillment. When I was 8 years old I was visited by two people who told me many things about the future. When my mother, who was right near, told me she never saw them, I knew in my heart they were angels appearing as people since I was trying to figure out how they would know so much about what was to come. Afterwards I had many visions one of which was I was speaking to a crowd of dark faces in an open air meeting which I knew was Africa. Well, now I'm 41 and I have been many places but this was my first trip to Africa. On this trip, my main purpose for going was to view an orphanage our church just built and finances in partnership with Iris Ministries. While there, as Heidi Baker is on a doctor ordered rest in the USA, I filled in many speaking slots at their Missions School and was also asked to go on an outreach. Henry Madera, a pastor of many churches from the Ukraine was also there. On outreach, in this remote bush village (where when you go to the bathroom it's a hole in the ground that is moving if you look down - worms, snakes, I didn't want to know), we showed the Jesus film in their language where 1200 people came from all around to see it. There is no running water, electricity or any of the other conveniences so this film intrigued them.
Henry briefly spoke and 400 gave their lives to Jesus. The next day we held another open air meeting and I was to speak after Henry. While he was speaking I was asked to go to a hut to pray for a man who could not walk to the meeting. Well it was a pitiful sight as he was curled up in a fetal position on the ground paralyzed for a year. He was completely blind and partially deaf. Well, after prayer, this man's sight was completely restored, his hearing mostly restored and he got up and walked to the meeting! When my turn to speak came (I'm in an open air meeting, speaking to many black faces just like the vision when I was 8), can you imagine the crazy thing I said after this man gave his testimony? "Where are the blind? Bring them, we serve a big God." Now, here come three blind people and now I'm praying, "Oh, God, do it again." Well, all three blind people received healing and there were so many other miracles they are too numerous to write.I'm absolutely marveling at the great awesomeness of our God. Also, how those words He has spoken to us, even years and years ago, as we hang on to them and believe them, are yes and amen. He will do that which He promised. Ezekiel 12:23 b "The days are at hand, and the fulfillment of every vision."
Love to all,
Patricia |
