Here's some of the things I sensed in prayer as I was praying for the nation of Kenya:
Kenya is at a "tipping point" right now. There is a need to fill the bowls of "incense" with intercession in order to tip the scales in favor of mercy. I saw plumes of white smoke billowing from the acts of violence and then I saw the incense that is the prayers of the saints rising before the throne of God. I saw the blood on the land and then I saw the blood of the Lamb. His blood speaks more loudly and has far more power. So,our prayers were added to the incense of so many other intercessors in the nation and around the world as we cried out for mercy to triumph over judgment; for the bowls of intercession to outweigh the the weight of iniquity and be tipped in favor of peace and reconciliation.
I believe, by the Spirit, that Kenya has a beautiful destiny to fulfill and it is hanging in the balance right now. The enemy knows how strategic Kenya is to the rest of Africa and is working hard to abort the purposes of God. He is perverting the cry for righteousness and justice, turning it to violence rather than intercession. BUT, God hears the intercession of the lost, as well, and adds them to His bowls. He feels the outrage of the people against corruption and injustice. He understands their sense of powerlessness to change things when the corruption originates in the highest office of government. It is up to the Church of Jesus Christ to appeal to the highest courts - the courts of heaven- and to tip the scales in favor of God's sovereign intervention in the nation. The time is NOW. The Church in Kenya is positioned to lay hold of God for a mighty, destinymove. The leaders of the nation have heard the cry of the people for justice. Now, it's time to mobilize the body of Christ to fervent, effectual intercession. The prayers of agreement will tip the scales.
I know you are strategic in this mobilization of intercession for Kenya. Thank you for all you are doing. Know that your labor is not in vain in the Lord. May He continue to strengthen and encourage you as you stand on guard for your nation.
