a Kingdom Principles in UN - by Derek Schneider

My Greetings!

Well I just wanted to share with you a word that I woke up with on Aug 17th, but before I do, I wanted to mention about my trip to the UN.

I had the pleasure of going with Pastor Sunday to the United Nations as he was giving two addresses there. It was totally a God-ordained life changing experiance for me. You can see a write-up about it on his website at God Embassy click on english version and it will take you to it.

I was able to sit in the "Canadian seat," for a brief time, but later was involved in praying for the Nations (I got Zambia) as Pastor Sunday led in prayer. It was very powerful and you could just feel the authority as he prayed. Following his prayer, he shared on how the church is actually meant and has the potential to meet every problem of society if we steward the Kingdom of God as we were meant to. At the close of this address, he gave a call for salvation and at least 5 hands went up! I couldn't believe it. (which I believe all of them were delegates) Praise the Lord!

That evening I was apart of a smaller core meeting with some leaders where Pastor Sunday spoke about bringing integrity back to government and applying "Kingdom principles." During our time at the UN Pastor Sundayn also solidified an opportunity for his church to become apart of the UN in some way and work with them. (I wasn't totally clear about what exactly took place as I was not allowed to be in that meeting.

Anyways, Stacey I am so excited about all that is taking place in the world as God's Kingdom is trully manifesting itself in a greater way than ever before. I have had such a sense in my spirit that the "church age,"is just beginning-but it will not look like it has in the past at all. The "Kingdom age," in reality, is the "church," going outside of its walls and transforming every sphere of society with the Kingdom of God. I believe we are on the brink of not just "the praying church," anymore, but the "doing church." I believe that God is now wanting us to step out and begin doing, and He will anoint and empower our "doing," not matter how irrelevant we have been in the past, or how insignificant we feel.

I liken it to the very familiar story of David and Goliath. There was in the "natural," no way a young boy could defeat a giant, but he knew God would anoint his "smallness," as he stepped out and "acted." The amazing thing is, he even still, gathered 5 stones and one stick, which he of course knew could not defeat a giant unless God anointed his "small weapons." The point is, he fought the giant by stepping out in the "natural," and by natural means, and God made his "natural," supernatural.

I also have been meditating on the multiplication of the loaves and fishes. Society had a need-the people were hungry. The disciples (the church) did not have enough food to meet that need. But Jesus told them to begin to give out of the little that they did have, and He put the "super," upon their "natural," no matter how little it was.

I have had such a sense that we as the body of Christ are moving into an age where God is going to anoint our, "stepping out and doing," if it is out of a broken heart for people, and if it is a reaching into society and being His hands and feet, and is of the Kingdom DNA. I have even thought that maybe the lack of the miraculous within the church today is a result of our lack of really needing God because we have for so long been only concerned about what is taking place within the four walls of the church. I know that what I am saying is something that has been said many times recently I am sure, but it has become so fresh within my spirit the last little while-I feel we are on the brink of the church becoming absolutely
transformed into His image.

Remain blessed!
Derek Schneider
