This testimony came from a couple that attended our conference in the Netherlands in October:

The husband of one of the women is a young man and has suffered from severe depression for several years now. At times it’s been so bad that she’s had to take the car keys so that he wouldn’t purposely crash the car in an attempt to end his life. The Sunday after the women’s conference he came to me at the end of our celebration in tears. He was weeping from joy and all he could say was, “I’m free. I’m free.” One of our young leaders had spoken that morning and had prayed for him afterwards. The husband went down under the power of the Holy Spirit. While on the ground God gave him a vision of himself when he was at Bible School. During that time someone had given him a powerful word that he was called to preach the gospel. He then saw demons who were discussing with each other how they could destroy him before he was able to fulfill his calling. Then, all of a sudden he saw an intensely bright flash of light and the demons were gone and the bars of the prison cell that he was in had disappeared. As he told me what had happened he said that he’d been looking at those prison bars for much of his 32 years and now, for the very first time, they were gone! His wife just stood there smiling calmly as he spoke. I was moved to tears just by listening to what he was saying. His wife just stood there calmly. Since I know how much she’s suffered with him I asked her why she wasn’t more excited. She told us that while she was at the women’s conference God told her on the Wednesday that he was going to set her husband free on the Sunday! She calmly said, “I already knew this was going to happen.”
