This has been a season of intense warfare for God's people. Many have felt as though they have had little strength left. BUT GOD! We know that the Lord has been consecrating his people through this, however, there have indeed been many injustices of the enemy unleashed against His people and those whom He has redeemed with His Blood. I have been very impressed by the Lord to release this word as an encouragement to strengthen the Body of Christ. The scripture passage is Psalm 46 - A Psalm of divine justice and intervention!

God is our refuge AND strength, an ever- present help in trouble - He provides a vehemently speedy intervention! Therefore, (because God is our shelter, our place of trust and strength), we are not to fear! We are not to anticipate negative consequences coming upon our lives because of what we see in the natural- even mountains falling into the heart of the sea - the sea manifesting with violent waters roaring and foaming causing the mountains to shake because of it's force.

We are not to fear or anticipate the terror of what we see in the natural. We are to meditate upon the truth. There is a river that is more powerful than any sea that would roar. This river flows right from the throne of God and whatever touches it lives! This is the river of grace in the midst of judgment. This is the river that says "whoever is thirsty, let him come; and whoever wishes, let him take the free gift of the water of life"( Rev 22). This river causes the City of God - The Place Where He Dwells, to be glad. This is the place of His abiding presence - The place where He resides. It is a place that is made glad, occupied with Joy because of the River whose streams make it Glad!

Even if all of the mountains all around shake and fall into the sea, the place where God dwells will not fall because He is within her. God will help her at the break of day. Though we walk through the valley of the shadow of death we will fear no evil as the Lord is with us. (Ps 23) WE WILL KEEP WALKING!!! The gates of hell will not prevail against the advancing Church! We will not be intimidated by threat of evil. We will not fear the terror of the night as God will intervene at the break of Day. Darkness covers the earth and thick darkness the peoples, BUT the Lord Rises upon us and His Glory appears over us! (Isaiah 60) At the time of the greatest darkness and oppression this is the time to EXPECT an Intervention! This is the time to Expect GOD!

When we see the mountains falling down all around us, we must understand that the nations are indeed in an uproar! Kingdoms are falling! "The Kingdoms of this world have become the kingdom of our Lord and of his Christ, and He will reign forever and ever!" (Rev 11:15) When the Lord lifts up His voice, when He speaks and releases His Word, the earth melts. Nothing - NO THING can stand and resist the Word of the Lord. The Lord Almighty (the Lord of Hosts - the Lord of the armies of heaven, assembled and ready for war) He is with us. He is our Fortress and covering. Our Refuge.

"Come and see... " We are invited to look up! Look not at what you see in the natural but look to the reality of heaven. Open the eyes of my heart that I may see. Lord grant us a spirit of revelation that we might behold what is really going on. The enemy is Not winning! Indeed the Lord is bringing about desolations on the earth. His Holy justice is being released upon the Kings and kingdoms of this world. Our God arises over us for His name sake! He makes wars to cease! The war of the enemy against God's Holy people. The Lord of Hosts breaks the bow of the evil one. He cuts down and smashes the spear that has been used to thrust against us. He burns the shields and the chariots of the evil one with His Fire! NO WEAPON fashioned against us will prosper! The Lord ALMIGHTY has spoken "ENOUGH!" Be Still - STOP! You will acknowledge that I am GOD! I will be EXALTED among the nations!

Be still and know that I am God, is not a verse intended to exhort God's people just to stop fretting and trust God. It is not even a verse that is to be mainly applied to call God's people into a place of rest. But rather it is a command coming from the Lord of Hosts first to the camp of the enemy. The Lord God Almighty is making a Decree that all attacks of the enemy are to Stop! The Hebrew would be interpreted as saying Enough! Stop! The Lord is saying Enough! No longer will the enemy rule with terror! The Lord's judgment upon the kingdom of darkness is being released! All nations will know that He is God. God's justice is perfect. He has not turned a blind eye to all that the enemy has been doing! The devil's schemes against God's covenant people are illegal! Heaven is now sending Intervention! Everything that does not align with the Kingdom of God will be taken down! God's perfect justice will be executed upon the earth. Yes, God's people can command their souls to "Be still and Know that He is God" . We can rest in Him as our fortress in the midst of the desolations - only because we are washed in His blood . Only because of His grace do we escape the sword of judgment! We are a people made glad in the midst of war as we are a people whose God dwells within! When we look upon the assignments of darkness that have been sent against us we can with authority declare in Agreement with Heaven Enough!

Prayer: Lord we praise you that you indeed are our refuge and strength. You bring about intervention speedily. Forgive us Lord for anticipating the powers of darkness over our lives. Forgive us for not expecting you and trusting in you. We declare that we will not Fear no matter what we see in the natural. We are a blessed people whose God dwells within. We thank-you for your redemptive grace and for the streams of your river that bring about abundant grace, favor and joy. Because you dwell within and your Name and Power is above all names and powers, there is no onslaught of the evil one that can make us fall. You are the captain of the Heavenly Hosts and you are making the wars of the evil one cease. You are breaking, smashing, and burning every weapon that has been fashioned against us. These weapons against us will not prosper. You have said "Enough" and so we say in agreement: to the powers of darkness "Enough" no longer will you war against us! No longer will you rob us, send affliction to us, oppress us! Enough! You will acknowledge that God is GOD! Thank-you Lord God Almighty! Thank-you for being with us and for being our fortress!
