The time for turning has come! As this year of 2009 began, I had declared: "The best thing about 2009 is that it will lead to 2010." Now, nine months into this year I am realizing what that indeed may mean! Just weeks ago the Spirit caused the question to rise up within me as we were being called into nine days of seeking Him: "I wonder what the number "nine" means?" The Strong's concordance [8672] definition set my spirit leaping! Nine means "a turn to the next or full number ten". 2009....the time of turning has come! It is now, in just a few days, that we will move into an acceleration of that turning as we arrive at the date: 09.09.09.
In preparation for our nine days of seeking the Lord, I "discovered" this verse in I Chron. 12:23. So much is in this verse...so much that you can lay claim to. There is an accumulation mounting that will produce "the turn"! There will be a transition from what is contrary to the Lord's plan (Saul's kingdom) to David's kingdom (anointing + establishing the place for His Presence)...and this is in fulfillment of what the Lord had said...perhaps 5 years before! The time for turning had come! Included in that accumulation of the Lord's forces to produce the turning is the tribe of Issachar who understood the times and knew what Israel should do (vs. 32). The accumulation which the Lord is putting in place will include prophetic confirmation in your life and direction!
The time of turning has come! For some of us it will be that our mourning is turned to dancing (Ps30:11). For others who are firmly holding out for the salvation of loved ones, they shall arrive into the hour when they shall turn from idols to serve the Living God (I Thes. 1:9). What a time we have entered! The acceleration of that turn marked by 09.09.09 will bring us to the next that the Lord has ordained and set in our expectation...to the very fullness of ten! Hear the word; receive the renewed hope and anticipation; get ready; lift up your downcast eyes to see the arriving of the 'accumulation' of the Lord to shift things from the current rigid direction to the way of the Lord to fulfill His purposes! This will be happening in the personal arenas of our lives, in ministries, and even in nations. The time of turning has come!
