Report on CPC meetings and True North National Prayer Conference
from Keith Miners

What is God saying to the church in Canada and the nation of Canada at this time?

Introduction

Canada’s prophetic destiny is to bring healing to the nations. This is against the backdrop of  “I will shake everything which can be shaken so that which cannot be shaken remains.” This applies to the church in Canada and the churches in the nations of the earth; it also applies to the nation of Canada and to the nations of the earth. Continued economic shakings as well as natural ones (ie: Christchurch, NZ) lie ahead.  Israel is bracing for war, and skirmishes will erupt that will align the rest of the world for and against her. (See attached word “The Calm Before the Storm).

Two major keys.

There are two major keys God is giving Canada for advancing the kingdom in this hour of history. Firstly, how the church and nation stand with the people and nation of Israel in their current crisis. “ Those who bless you, I will bless; those who curse you, I will curse.”  Secondly, the recent Forgiveness tour and the Forgiveness summit which ran during the first half of 2010 has brought very significant healing to the nation and releases the First Nations people to come into their prophetic destiny.

CANADA MUST CONTINUE TO STAND WITH ISRAEL (See word from Marney Blom). We prayed into two of our Prime Minister’s public statements that they will stand with Israel (Jean Chretien’s decree after he visited the Holocaust Museum, and Stephen Harper’s public statements that we will stand with Israel). Rob Parker reminded us of the significance of the 1999 Gathering in Winnipeg where repentance towards the Jewish people turned away judgment from the nation of Canada. See the word “Canada and the US”

God's plumbline.

There were two words given referring to a plumbline. The first was a vision given to Keith Miners early in the year where a plumbline was laid down through the center of the nation, including Winnipeg, from east to west. This was given in the context of the Forgiven tour. It can be interpreted that God was laying down a plumbline of forgiveness in the nation and was looking for our response to the plumbline of forgiveness. Then in September God gave a word, “ I am applying my plumbline to the foundations.” This was seen as the foundations of the church and the foundations of the nation. The theme of the plumbline ran through the conference as well as the CPC.

Along with the plumbline came the word “I am the God of order.” This was interpreted to mean that God has his ways of doing things and the order in which things are done is very important. “First the Jew, then the Gentile.” First things first: First the First Nations people, then the rest. God wants to re-align some things that have gotten “out of order,” going back to Him (not any human) being the head, remembering His first love (Israel), and building on “first things first.” There is a new prominence coming to First Nations people at this time.  These themes ran through the meetings and the conference.

Kenny Blacksmith shared a dream which he had received during which he was given three pages of instructions, but lost the first page. This was understood that God was calling us to first things first: Himself. There is the call back to our first love: Himself. There was a call to pure, unadulterated, undistracted worship of God Himself (the First Commandment). We are distracted in worship because of our busyness, we are adulterated because of self; therefore, our worship is not pure because of coming with our own agendas. The theme of returning to our first love ran strongly through the conference and the times of worship were exceptional as focus on Him was expressed throughout the worship times. With this background, the theme of honour ran strongly throughout. So, the First Nations leaders were honoured with gifts. The local leaders were honoured, the national leaders were honoured, the speakers were honoured. Honour came through as being very important in these days. Developing the culture of honour is essential to alignment.

James Goll, in the midst of real joy, released a word that the enemy wanted a fall election. If we, the church in Canada will pray so that there is not an election then there is a window of 120 days (see word). After which the next election will result in the most righteous government being elected in the history of Canada. This was received and prayed as directed.

The theme of joy was throughout the whole time. “Happy intercessor” was repeated several times, There was great joy in worship and the conference ended with joy-filled prayer tunnel. Don't live under intercessory burdens but let the Lord carry them.

The nation of North Korea was prayed for at length, part of our call to bring healing to the nations. Jim Goll referred to the current and developing state of the USA. So there was prayer of blessing, appreciation, affirmation, encouragement and unity with the church in the United States in these days( a word from 2007-8  related to this is being circulated separately.)

Rob, Sara, Stacey and others reminded us how far we have come in the last ten years. Rob saw the return to Winnipeg at the heart of the nation, in the heart of the continent, as being very significant. The ten year period from the Winnipeg Gathering was over. Not only had we entered a fresh ten year period but a new era. Stacey reinforced this throughout her sharing times. It is crucial for us to understand that and to walk in increasing maturity because we really are in times of increasing shaking, which will only get worse. Unless we are returned to our first love, unless we walk in the Spirit, unless we walk in forgiveness, holiness, unless we live in unity, intimacy and maturity, we will not stand nor fulfil our prophetic destiny. Unless we walk according to God's plumbline, especially the plumbline of the Word we will not stand.
